Should be a tag on it somewhere, that tag has the factory codes to identify your trans. Do you know if its 3,4,or 5 speed?
Find those codes & then go to breezemans site, there you will find all ford transmissions & gear ratios.

Look at the tag again, there is more than one code on it. My T5 tags have a few codes, I needed the code 1357-XXX to find my ratios. Need to know 3,4, or 5 speed.

          Ratio

If yours does not have the tag like probably 50% of the trannys used in racing , mark the input shaft and the output shaft. Put tranny in the gear you needing to know, have some one help by turning the output shaft one complete revolution, while you count the revolutions the input shaft turns. Now divide the larger number into the smaller number and this will get you in the ballpark.

            Mine is a 4 speed,

            the tag reads:
            80 EI BA
            FOG 9J 07G

On the case by the cover it has:
            77ET
            7006AA.

still don't see either one. I turned the output and I got about 3 teeth past 2 turns on input shaft, but be nice to have the exact ratio.

dw--on the drivers side of the main case by the top cover are some more numbers--tell us what they are.
