What's the best head to use?

I'm building a new head and would like some opinions on which casting will make the best power. I have to run oval port no porting or polishing with solid lifters stock size valves 5200 carb and .525 lift rule. I have a D9 casting but was told that the D4 and D7 castings were better. What do you guys suggest. I plan to run between 7800 and 8000 RPM. It's a wissota mod 4 that weighs 1650 pounds.
