independent vs solid rear end? toyota corolla

hello, i have 2 mid 80s corollas, and i was wondering which would be better to race on a 1/4 mile asphalt oval. the corolla with the solid rear end, or the independent rear end? thanks for the help!

We ran a Supra with a 20r many years ago.It had the independent suspension.Handled great was very easy to set up car,only problem was the rear end didn't take well to crashing.If your rules allow I would go independent and give it a try.
