    esslinger intake or factory fuel injected

    Which one would you run?
    Motor rules are...any hyd cam, milled head, no porting, stock crank 2300 and any header

    To keep things simple, the Esslinger intake with a carb is about as simple as it gets. Lots of good info for converting the ignition to run without the computer here on this forum.

    Factory injection means keeping all the factory sensors and wiring in place. Plus a carb and distributor setup can be tuned for more power. The factory computer, not much tuning there.

      I think he is going to run a carb on both which one is better with a spacer and a carb if not sorry

        with no port work allowed the Esslinger intake is the way to go...the EFI intake untouched is hardly good enough to use as a door stop
        No matter how hard you try...you cant fix stupid!!!

        If you build it right...it will turn left!!!

          I will be running a carb just curious on which intake. We can port but no cutting and welding up.

            also, its a 1/4 mile dirt track with tight turns if that matters.
