The input shafts are different length and the pilot diameter is different too. If you swap input shafts make sure they both have the same number of teeth, both on the gear and on the synchronizer.
Aren't the V8 T5's about triple the price of a 4 cyl T5 though?Oval racing helps you unwind because you race counter clockwise.

Same except for lenght and pilot. This was just the standard T-5's not sure about the higher end ones though. I sold a couple of my 4 cyl T-5's to a 5.0 guy that liked the ratios better and it held up behind the mild built V-8 for years.Comment
