Race engineering iron cylinder head questions?

Has anyone ever fooled around with the race engineering cylinder head that has the raised ports? Best combination for the machine work? Best thing to have done to the virgin cast had? Etc.... Any info is appreciated thanks.

Dave I sent you a picture of a cut out view of Head (race engineering, Rhea, Chinese). It is a cut between intake and exhaust valve. I don't think I can get any closer to exhaust because of water. I have several more views. Robert

I've moved the plugs by plug and redrill but another alternative there is to use an insert and go to the 12mm plug size. You can gain .039 that way. You could also have someone make you an offset plug and maybe go .050 or so.I don't like that thin flat edge section created from milling.
