monte carlo help

i bought a 73 monte carlo roller, i got a 350 turbo transmition with it as well but have been told to get a 2 speed powerglide, the tracks i will run at have ump rules, i replaced the ball joints because the ones that were on it were in bad shape, but i cant find any that dont require me to ream out the spindle. will the car not pass tech with any ball joints but the stock ones that came on it? or is there somewhere that i can buy new stock ones? also was wondering if it is okay to buy replacement tubular control arms? thanks for any help

What are 'ump' rules? If they're Rules for a racing Association, what do the 'ump' Rules say about changing the front geometry hardware? -84Dave-
