wiring a tfi to msd

i know msd sells tfi wiring harness to msd well it says plugs into factory harness that were i get lost
i didnt really want spend money on msd dist just figure i use a tfi with a msd box

Wire just like normal except the wire from dist that went to neg side of coil will now go to the wire on msd that is for a points trigger.

so off the tfi with harness clip u use red goes to red
black to msd white
green to tach on msd
what about the tfi modual just use stock or what

The red goes to ign swith on and off. Black to ground. And the green to the trigger wire from msd box which I believe is a white wire. Then wire the msd to coil and power wires per the msd instructions. The only thing the tfi is going to do is trigger the msd box instead of the coil then the msd will fire the coil
