Pinto help please

Need to know the length of the pinto driveshaft, or if a mustang driveshaft will work under the pinto.thanks in advance

We got a mustang and pinto and both have the same tranny and driveshafts in ours.

just measured the one in my pinto and it is 45.5 inches from the center of one cross to the other. 71 pinto, 23 spline pinto trans and 8in rear. the one in my 86 mustang is different but i also run a pinto trans and an 8in in it which are not the stock trans and rear.

Driveshaft im looking at is 46 with the yoke on it. I didnt know if i could make this work or not thanks for all the help

if it is 46in from the center of the front cross to the center of the rear cross then it should work.
