Water Temp sender location on a 2300

I purchased a Longacre water temp gauge and oil pressure gauges. The water temp gauge also comes with a "water temp sender" 1/2 NPT. My question is where do you install this on the 2300 motor. I know the gauge sender it self goes on the rear of the block on the driver side but not sure where to install this water temp sender. Thanks.

The best place for it would be in the water neck... That's the location that has the coolant at it's hotest and flowing water.
