2.3 ford sputtering on takeoff then runs like a rocket ship???

Hello, I have a 2.3 ford in a mustang mini.. I run a 350 holly not sure of the jets,, but it has a new 25 squiter. When I mash the gas for the start of the race it falls on its face sputtering.. then all of a sudden its like it catches up then fly's... never misses a beat while running. any ideas would be greatly appreciated.. thanks

sounds like the power valve is bad

Vibration caused mine to do that. Accelerator pump arm are was vibrating (pumping) on the diaphragm. When the rpms came up the vibration went away and it ran good. Went back to rubber mtr mounts and it runs fine.

sounds like accelerator arm misadjusted or wrong cam
