toyota 3tc , 6'' vacuum idle, 10'' at 1200 rpm , vacuum peaks at 15'' at higher rpm.
vacuum bounces 1'' range. ( normal with performance cam?)
get a pulsating , at 2500 rpm. with 3'' bounce. (all rpm are guesses , no tach)
cam specs unknown, bought used, was told it came off a 2tc sprint car class in ca. it is a regrind.
always had this problem but once I got going at higher rpms with jetted stock carb or 32 36 weber it ran ok. now mounted a 350 holley, it pulsates under load all the way up, back off the throttle, smooths up. cany find any vaccum leaks so far. also advancing the distributor is all the way to the physical stop. im guessing cam timing is retarded. rules prevent adjustable cam sprocket.
who sells offset cam keys for this motor? thanks.
