I'm having trouble getting the yoke to go in the transmission. It's a 78 pinto 4 speed 2.14 second. I ran this set up years ago and can't understand why it wont go together now. I know there's a sleeve in the rear housing to help the yoke stay steady and that's what seems to be the problem. The yoke goes in about an inch and no further. I checked my yoke with a friends mustang yoke and the mustang yoke was thicker. So I'm sure I have the right yoke. Anyone know what to do? Thanks
