Deck height question

This discussion came up about a v8 and I thought I'd ask to see what the "norm" is for a flattop 2.3 Ford.

Which do you guys target, piston at .000" deck or above deck say .005" or so?

I usually go .010 as well. More "quench". You have a few head gasket choices also.
