Over heating problem

I have a 2550 that under green the temp. goes up way up the longer the laps the higher it goes... Under yellow it comes back down kinda quick what could it be??? thanks

Thermostat used? Restrictor used? Hi pressure cap used? Lower hose with wire used? How hot is hot? Need more info.

Any openings in the nose? What radiator? What size pulleys?
