    2300 won't fire

Engine ran fine most of season, but second to last race while sitting in the staging lane it began to misfire. The plugs were fouled with fuel on them, so I replaced them. The car seemed to run ok the next night out, but at a slightly higher oil pressure than normal. With two laps to go in the feature, the car just shut off out of nowhere. No smoke, no leaks or anything of that nature.

I thought it may be the fuel filters or fuel pump, but I replaced the filters and the fuel pump appeared to still be pumping fuel. The engine will turn over, but won't fire. Any ideas?

Check and clean off all of the ground wires.

Do you have spark? Are you getting fuel to the carb? You have to start with the basics first.

Pull distributor cap and make sure rotor is turning. Pull distributor and check gear.
        BUCKLE UP NOW, YA HEAR?
