I wonder if the hubs from a 90,s model Grand Prix, Lumina, Cutlass ect. could be used on these cars? (With a little fabrication maybe?) I ran a Grand Prix for 4 years and never had a wheel bearing problem and the car weighs 2800lbs.

I have found that 85-90% of the time it will be the wheel bearing on the same side to which you are turning when the noise is loudest, on Front wheel drive cars with integrated double roller bearings which are the most common type.
