1985 mustang steering rack u joint size?

I'm ready to order steering rack u joint for my mustang, what size? In the speedway motors catalog, there is couple sizes to choose from. My is a power steering if that makes any difference. Also it will be welded on to 3/4 steering shaft. Thanks.

All you need to do is count the number of splines on the rack and then you can order the right u-joint. It is probably around 30 or 36 if I remember correctly. Hope this helps.

Yes I counted the spline and measured it but it came out at 11/16 inch and 36 spline so I'm not sure whatever to order 5/8" or 3/4"
Please help me out. Thanks.

I have replaced several, they all have been 3/4"- 36 spline.
