Wondering if anyone has tried a aftermarket module with any performance gain. Just curious, looking to replace some "old original" ignition related parts.

I have used GM 4 pin module with stock dist. with great results and reliability.

Don't spend a lot of money, get a V8 module. You can run it in excess of 10,000 rpm's without a problem. A 4 cyl fires twice for every revolution where as a V8 fires 4 times.
