hey guys looking for a little input on milling a head 2.3 how far have some of you milled ive heard some crazy numbers but if so do you have a timing issue after the fact ? any other things to be concerned with thanks

i have milled .170 and used a stock timing gear, its all about math...you will never get a milled head to be straight up with a stock gear though, the more you mill it, the more retarded the cam will be. if you have the head sonic tested for thickness, some people mill off as much as .220
