    How many sheets of Aluminum

Do you use for the interior/decking/ and body (with aluminum roof)?
    4x8' or 4x10' size?
    For an open wheel modified.
    Thanks in advance.

    4x10' sheets
I would think 7 sheets would be plenty, but its going to depend on the style noses and roof setup you want to build. Some guys are going with the long wide hood/ nose setups and longer roofs, so obviously that requires more material. These numbers are only based off my experience, someone may have a better answer.

    1 for interior
    2 for the deck
    2 for doors and quarters
2-3 for the rest (hood, nose, sails, post, roof, spoiler if allowed)

I would say 8 if you are building a big roof, hood, nose and sails, especially if you are doing multiple colors.

I can do it in 7 but it requires careful planning.

I use 6 for everything but the tub. But I build the hood 60" wide and the roof to 50" and double lip every outside edge.If you draw it out, you can get a door/quarter/sail and front roof posts out of one 4x10 sheet.
