    Willys carb question.

I recently bought a willys carb at a swap meet and the guy told me that it was an alcohol carb. After looking at willys website there alcohol metering blocks are blue. The metering blocks on the one I bought has the red adjustable jet metering blocks. Do they make the alcohol blocks in both red and blue or has someone converted it or ????The guy that sold it didn't seem to know much about it. I think he just was flipping it for profit but I didn't pay much for it so if it needs some work I'm still ahead of the game. Any help is greatly appreciated.

Red has always been gas as far as I know. Call them they aren't bad to talk to though not my first pick for a carb.

Like Powerslide says -- Blue is alcohol and red is gas.

Look on the adjustable main jet. There should be a letter and a number stamped on one of the flats of the hex. If the letter is an A it is an alcohol carb. If it is a G it is gas. E is E85.
