    rr chain

    how tight to most guys like to run there rr chain at ride height,with car on the scales??? and do you like to snug it up as the track slows down???

    i leave about a 1/4" and never mess with it. But I'm also not winning all the time! lol

      I'm not sure where thinkstoomuch is saying a 1/4 from. But if you get it too short on a rough track you will know. A good starting spot is 1/4-1/2in off the spring when you have the rearend hanging.

        i was saying a 1/4 measuring the same as powerslide. I was just not real clear about it, thanks

          We always ran ours with about 1/2" to 3/4" of slack when sitting at ride height. This was on an open wheel and a late model.
