engine dies on full throttle but revs up in the pits no problem!

i have a problem with my engine running no problem in the pits, revs up just fine, changed the power valve 4412 500 cfm carb, only time the engine dies is on full theottle when i am racing, it has a stock coil and it is in a wissota mid west mod, 350 engine, help

Check fuel pressure I chased this problem put on new fuel pump distributor battery rewire all switches bout went insane one of them finally fixed it then valve guide wore out replace heads then cam wore out fixed it then got a detached retina in eye done.for year best guess is fuel pressure I also found a tiny piece of crap in needle and seat would be fine then flood then run right been one hell of a year after 35 years away best of luck

Check the vent on the fuel cell is not plugged up . What size Power valve ?

Had the same problem and it was the coil.
