Factory 1970’s ford pinto’s
They don’t snap off the top of spindle due to light wheel contact, because of the machining for the ball joint location change.

What I don’t understand is why do people running chevelle clips, not run the chevelle spindle? They are an 8 degree spindle, and pretty tough.


The AMC 5 piece spindle looks real nice. I will probably use them next year.

Steering arm is weak and wrong length on the Chevelle stuff. Bump steer was better with the pinto spindle however with the rules now with spacers and all that I think it's just long forgotten.

I wonder if there would be any gains using a 10 on the left and 7.5 on the right or vice versa. 🤔

I done the 7.5 left front and a stock 10degree on rf back in 2013/14.
Worked very nice. Let car turn in very well without the jacking force planting the rr on entry, and if you did happen to need to backsteer a lot the 10degree rf helped load lr and tighten up the car.

I think in conjunction with the offset/wheel spacing that is happening these days, it would probably make the car work better.
