IMCA Northern Sportmod Rule Change

For 2018 the sportmods will have to start mounting their rear shocks behind the rear end. Anyone have an idea what they are trying to accomplish?

It will somewhat limit travel. But that is about all that I can think of.

Will very minimally limit travel if at all if you setup the shock right

I think they want to simplify it more. Some guys said its better behind but we'll see.
