crate engine questions

Making a change from a diehard claim person to running a crate this year.This will sound silly but can i use my dist,water pump and starter off my claim motor on the crate motor?

yes you can....the best thing to do is get a good quality crate carb....

Make sure your distributor has the right gear on it as the crate has a roller cam, if you didn't know that. JMO.

Yes, what he ^^^ said about the distributer gear. Get ahold of Brad Hibbard on here and he'll get you fixed up on the correct gear. The crate will chew up a bronze gear in a race or a few races

No...the 602 uses hydraulic flat tappet lifters
