What is a good starting point for a straight bar? How many degrees up hill? Bar is mounted to left rear side of pinion on pinion.

how long is your bar? as a general rule of thumb, the more rake you have in it, the quicker it'll "stand up", but you'll get less movement both horizontally and vertically. This is however limited by your LR shock/chain length, so it's primarily how quickly you want it to react. if you want it to be a little slower, keep the rake/angle low. If you want it to come on quick, add rake/angle. I've never figured angle on ours, but we go from a standard j-bar mount on the frame to the 2nd hold on drivers side of pinion as a starting point. probably 10-15 degrees or so.
also keep in mind, that for more drive, lower the bar keeping the rake the same (lower on both mounting points equally). that gives it more "pushing" power by lowering your roll center. So Rake affects the action rate, height effects the drive force/roll center.Comment
