I see alot of guys running a bypass regulator instead of using the bypass built into the pump. What is the reason for this and is it necessary.

I see alot of guys running a bypass regulator instead of using the bypass built into the pump. What is the reason for this and is it necessary.

It's much easier and faster to set or adjust fuel pressure with a regulator then the pill bypass it has built in. I always plugged it and used a regulator at the fuel log.
