    clamped set up

on todays cars What is clamped to what and is it all clamped to the tube. I'm getting back into racing and years ago I ran everything clamped together and clamped to the tube but I don't see how that works with a pull bar. I ran a lift bar but kept zero preload on the 5th coil.

You want your shock and spring bolted to the birdcage.

For most 4link/4link pullbar setup, birdcage, with links attached, floats on axle.
Brakes can be clamped to axle, on a floater with its own link, or attached to birdcage.

Most common, lr spring behind, shock in front attached to birdcage. RR spring and shock on front of birdcage.
