    brake floater

Does it matter the location of the brake caliper when floating the lr? If so, what ate the affects of having it the different locations?

It doesn't make a difference. The floated brake doesn't know where the caliper is located, it only knows the pressure it transfers to the chassis when the brakes are applied. Just place them for clearance and so that the bleader is higher than the line in.

Just make sure that the swedge tube is long enough so that the caliper can not relocate itself to the front of the axle...I have mine mounted at about the 2:00 position with the car at ride height.
