I would put the LR spring behind the axle. Can you put the RR spring on the axle ? What kind of tires and pressures ?

Is this a three link car? If so, how you have the springs should work best (LR in front, RR behind). I don't understand what you mean by preload in the springs though. Just set ride heights, set LS and Rear %, then set your LR bite. Where they are after that is where they are. 100-130 LBS of Bite, 56-57% Rear, 52-53% Left (w/o driver, assuming 200lbs) should be a good starting place.
Spring rates look alright in rear. 550-650 range in the fronts assuming a Chevelle clip or Metric w/Nova lowers. 15-20* in left bar, 0-5* in right. Panhard bar 10* down to the right, mounted 3-4" below center of housing. Pull bar 15* down to the front. Soft shocks to let it move a little.Last edited by TS3g; 07-29-2011, 08:48 AM.
