Was thinking about this today and had a question, on comparable tires how have lap times for modifieds changed over the last 5 years? Guess I'm curious in general if todays best cars are really that much faster than a few years ago.

90% of the cars today are turning about the same time as then. However technology and the availability of tech (like this forum contributes to) has a few clickin off some badfast times ocasionally that have the track records dropping here and there. Likly due to the horsepower that can be used at qualification time. After it slicks off its the same game it was.The Blacksheep cometh ! With old bent sh!t that just keeps getting faster ! -
