RR shock?

How much shaft should rr have when sitting at ride height with driver in it? (4bar car with spring behind, metric front end.)

I would think a min. of 4 inches of course if the car isn't hard on the RR you could get by with less,but not much.

Thanks for info. Had about 3.5, but raised ride height and moved shock mount and now have right at 5.
