Hey guys, i just bought a new car, and it has a chevelle front stub, the car came with a 650 in the left front and a 700 in the right front. Do you think that these are too much. We are on Imca G-60 Hoosiers if that matters at all. What do you think?

Depends on your driving style.. I would swap them and put the 650 in the RF -
I like to drive it in straight and smooth, hate sliding the car. What would you say would be the ideal front spring rates to start with?Comment

I would start with a pair of 700s, then go up or down with them from there. Remember wheel spacers will soffen the spring rate too. 1 inch spacer will change the rate about 25 lbs. 1/2 about 12lbs.BUSTING OURS TO KICK YOURSComment

If you like to drive it in straight and let the car rotate through the corner without throwing it in, is it better to have a softer right front than left front?Comment

I have found that a shock,with a stiff rebound,on the Rf seems to pin the nose and let the car turn. If the track is hammer down,and you can flat foot from the center off.a 50/50 shock has a better feel. The Tie down shock gets the car free off the corner.
Been working with Jay at BSB and we are happy with the black shocks. I started to tie the Left front down, with the Rf, at the end of the year. I need to try it more. Didnt hurt the car,But I can't tell you much at this point.
