got an older gn ford nine rear, and the hubs on it look like they would need brake hats....I realize this is not a big deal...but will the brake hats restrict what offset wheel you can run ? thanks

ok thanks...have not used them before, so I wondered,.....so I if i buy the IMCA style steel brake hat I assume I would be all set.
Its either that or new hubs...which is even more money....:-)

Make sure on what brand of hub you have because the steel hat may not fit. Most old GN hubs used an aluminum hats . The steel hat is for the stock axle to disc brake in most cases.Comment
