Anyone out there have a hoop style pullbar? What bushing are you liking to run? 800, 1050, 1250, 1500?

Just looking at the speedway book and the southwest speed book. Both of them sell the lightweight biscuit pullbar(the first one in the speedway book). I was just wondering if they are the same piece and why the southwest speed one is 125 $ and the speedway ones are 99 $. Anyone?Comment

We have used rubber biscuit pullbars in the past with 1050 to 1500 rated biscuits on them. Have found they work best on tacky to normal smoother tracks. Went to spring bar and have never been back.

What pullbar would you recommend? The mount in my center to center is about 35 inches long. Im really open to anything. I have split the bushings on this x factor and looking to get a different one. Kind of something that is easy to tune. What do you guys think? I was looking at the lightweight biscuit bar in speedway but im not sure if that would work with it being so long. Really some advice, what do you think?Comment

When we ran that type of bushing, we used no preload, just snug and worked for us. Good luck.Comment

Pullbar
If it was me, I would run an AFCO or AFCO copy 3 way pullbar with a 1050 spring. Use the inner bushings adjustments when tacky to make it stiffer. Have done this and have good bite on most any track. Make sure the spring does not make contact with Jbar. Have plenty of pinion angle.

This is an honest opinion, not a sales pitch. I ran the shaw 700-2000 spring and really liked it. But at the end of last year I got the allstar performance 3 stage (afco copy) with a 800 spring in it and LOVED it!
I took the Racewise Chassis School last year and that spring rate is what Mark Bush recomended becuse he said with the biscuits inside you want to use a softer spring for the initial off the corner and then let the bisquits come in after that to stiffen the rate up.
Im going to sportmod this year, so i have that pullbar for sale in the classified section if your interested.Comment
