Floating LR Brake

I've heard lots about this lately, I'm new to mods this year, I raced Late Models about 12 years ago and back then when we floated the brakes we used a seperate caliper mount and bar for the brake floater. IMCA rules say no brake bars, so how are they floating the brake? Is the caliper mount incorporated into the birdcage?

the brake bar they are refering to is the bar that hooks to the 6th coil
