rear panard bar mount on overslung car

I bought an overslung car. To run an imca sport mod, i need to run the rear panard bar. Does the car need to be underslung on the lr to have a spot for the panard bar to mount on the frame?

You could brace the bracket all the way to the right side( back up to the frame) instead of going under-slung....... probably would end up a lot lighter than bracing up a under-slung... on a car that is already beefed up to be an over-rail car...( larger tubing, etc during the design stages)

    IMHO
