    Left rear chain question

When using a chain on the left rear should the mounting point on the axle be clamped down or free to swivel/rotate?

Also same question for the right rear?

    chain.

Either will work. If u use a standard clamp, snug it up, but not really tight, and it will find its home. Run it 1 time, and it should rotate it to were the clamp needs to be, then tighten up tight.
I think there should be lifeguards in the genepool.

I like using a cable but if you are really using a chain, you should wrap tape around it so that it doesnt get kinked and jam up.
