new to modifieds 4 link ?

ok just one simple question i hope it doesnt sound stupid but as far as i know a 4 link car has just 4 bar on it two on each side one top and one bottum. so my qeustion is this i saw some guys at the track that had 3 bar on the lr two bars on top and one bar on the buttom and the 2 top were in different holes the far left was one whole higher than the right bar. so im wondering is there a advantage of having the bars like this or is this normal?

The extra bar is for the brake floater

ok thanks make sense i dont know why i didnt think about that.do you just run a brake floater on LR?

I personally dont run one on my car had a buddy that tried it and said he didnt like it so i never tried it and have never had an issue with just having the brakes mounted solid! jmo
