Trying to figure out what would be the best length for a solid pullbar on an x mod. Also where to mount it on the front & how much angle. Where to mount on the rear end etc. equal lower bars on a 3 link. 360 ci 9 1/2 to 1 engine on a Rochester 2bbl, 2300 lbs mostly good to slick smooth wide hide speed corner track. Thanks.

This will be the first year I have ran a solid top link so this is not from experience.......but the front runners I've seen running this setup run as long a bar as possible, 40-42"??, and the front mount is low as possible. Most of the time mounted to the driveshaft loop.Comment

I have run solid uppers before. About 27 inches is a good spot to be in. Any shorter and you lose traction to soon. Any longer and you won't get enough traction soon enough.Comment
