How much yoke should I have sticking out of the tail shaft to be safe? It is a Mono leaf mod with a powerglide. Thanks for any help.

You need at least 2" of yoke inside the seal.The amount sticking out varies with the type of suspension, but with a leaf rear that isnt all hiked up you should be OK with 1 1/2" of shiny yoke behind the seal.

MY old mono leaf mod moved about a 1/2 inch or so, give or take.

1 1/2" is where i had my mono car. Even when i went to the fast boys set up it was fine with the 1 1/2" out.
