Sunoco 112 supreme or VP late model plus?

I have a 15 degree 430 race motor. Which fuel do you think would be sufficient to run in it? This motor is pretty healthy and it had pre detonation on Vp 113. Thanks

You probably want Sunoco 114 HCR, comprable to the VP latemodel plus . what is compression ratio?

i think sunoco 112 is rated for up to 14.5 to 1 compression....to good of fuel could make the motor run worse

We have a 15:1 421 and have used both...Right now we are on the HCR 114...Plugs read consistent

Octane is not the only thing that can cause detonation.
