    Hoosier tire working temperatures

I have a basic question that I have searched and can't find a reasonable answer. For the Hoosier D40 and A40 tires (UMP Modified) what kind of tire temperatures are needed before they start to work? Typically you can tell a tire was too hot, but hard to tell if a tire did not get enough heat in it to work.

    Thanks in advance.

i copied this from another forum about two years ago...

The D's optimum operating temp is around the 100 degree mark.

The A's optimum operating temp is around the 120-140 range. Any warmer then that the A tends to seal up under a caution.

The H's optimum operating temp is around the 135-155 range.
