alcohol is cheaper than fuel/gallon but is it in the long run? How much more alcohol would you burn in a night than fuel?

You will burn almost twice as much alcohol as gas, btu's are btu's you need the same to make 500 hp whether you burn gas, alky, propane, diesel, nitro etc.
Remember though, alky ways almost half a pound per gallon more than gas, and you use almost twice as much, what does that do to your car weights? Also alky is very corrosive, especially in the combustion chamber.
I use gas in all my circle track cars, both dirt and pavement, but run alky in our Bonneville car (it runs in a fuel class and we run alky)
