    9" weight vs. QC weight

    With gear and full of fluid, does anyone know what the weight difference is?

    My qc is 30 lbs heavier then my 9 inch was

      QC has more reciprocating weight in it too,..spinning 2 ring gears an all

        maybe you meant 2 spur gears, and a bottom shaft...

        no 2 ring gears.....

            Thru shaft to a rear spur gear meshed with another spur gear and then the ring and pinion. Not sure about the mod rules on QC, but on the Late Models to help save weight, we run aluminum outer axle tubes, gun drilled axles, gun drilled thru input shaft, lightened spur (QC) gears and aluminum ring gear...
