What type of "traction" device do these have? If pullbar, is it biscuit or spring?

I run a springbar currently on my 2012 car.
Have also been on the Lightning biscit bar.
Both work very well.I think there should be lifeguards in the genepool.

The one I have been working with has a shock mount bolted to it and you use a solid link in place of the shock/spring combo a lift arm would have.Originally posted by powerslide View PostWhat kind of clamping device do you have on the front of the reese bar? We tried it back in 03 and had a terrible time keeping anything tight because of the taper in the bar.Modern Day Spec Wedge Racing

Thats what ours had. Only difference is i think we just tried a square piece of tubing w/ a nut welded in it and tightened the bolt down on the bar. Like i said couldnt come up with a good way to keep it tight only ran it 2-3nights. It was a new car and we went with something more convetional and ended up being sold before we tried it anymoreOriginally posted by MasterSbilt_Racer View PostThe one I have been working with has a shock mount bolted to it and you use a solid link in place of the shock/spring combo a lift arm would have.

Southwest Speed sells a bracket for the front and rear of the reese bar. They also have thier own brand of spring bars.
