Big GM Stub

Anyone build mods on the bigger GM stubs (impala, caprice)? Are they too heavy?

Are you talking about 1979 to 1995 GM full size ?

Yes. Any of them to be honest. I know of mods being build on the chevelle stub, metric stub, and Ford Crown vic stub so I am wondering if there are others being used and if some are not used what the reason is.

Last time i knew Mike weidemann was using them on the stealth chassis unless he has changed since then

Pretty sure you can still get a Jet built on the big metric clip.

Jet, Pro, B&B, J-Car and others use or offer the Metric Impala stub. Much tougher than the Chevelle or small metric, great geometry, a little heavier.

Want to buy a Jet? Got 2 but retiring from racing!
