Throttle linkage

Hey guys this might be very elementary but I just want to double check before I do it. I recently had the bigger hole on my willys carb where the throttle linkage bolts through pull apart, and I was wondering if there would be any problems if I hooked it up through the quarter inch hole that is also on there. Sorry if this is elementary but I just need to make sure.

Not a problem at all, it's just going to react a bit quicker and throttle travel will be shorter. I actually only run my throttle in the quarter inch hole.
